By using OntarioTruckingInsurance.ca, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and our network of RIBO-licensed insurance brokerages.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Services

Ontario Trucking Insurance is a network of licensed commercial insurance specialists serving Ontario's trucking industry. Our services include:

• Providing educational resources about commercial trucking insurance
• Offering interactive cost calculators and quote estimators
• Connecting trucking businesses with specialized RIBO-licensed brokerages
• Facilitating quotes from multiple insurance carriers
• Providing consultation on trucking-specific coverage needs

3. Quote Requests and Lead Submission

3.1 No Guarantee of Coverage

Submitting a quote request does NOT guarantee that you will receive an insurance quote or that coverage will be available. Insurance carriers have underwriting guidelines and may decline coverage based on risk factors, CVOR record, claims history, or other criteria.

3.2 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when submitting quote requests. Misrepresentation of material facts may result in denial of coverage, policy cancellation, or denial of claims by insurance carriers.

3.3 Contact Authorization

By submitting your contact information, you expressly authorize Ontario Trucking Insurance and our partner brokerages to contact you via phone, email, or SMS regarding your quote request and related insurance services.

4. Broker Network and Compensation

4.1 Network Model

Ontario Trucking Insurance connects you with RIBO-licensed brokerages in our network. These brokerages are independent businesses that operate under their own licensing and regulatory requirements.

4.2 Commission Disclosure

Our partner brokerages earn commissions from insurance carriers when you purchase a policy. These commissions are built into the insurance premium—you do not pay extra for broker services. Commission rates vary by carrier and policy type.

4.3 No Direct Fees

Ontario Trucking Insurance does not charge application fees, broker fees, or consultation fees directly to clients. Our network operates on carrier commissions.

5. Calculators and Estimates

Cost calculators and premium estimators on our website are for informational and educational purposes only. They provide approximate estimates based on general industry data and should NOT be considered:

• Binding quotes or offers of coverage
• Guarantees of actual premium costs
• Professional insurance advice specific to your operation

Actual insurance premiums are determined by carriers through formal underwriting processes that consider detailed information about your trucking operation, CVOR record, claims history, and risk profile.

6. Educational Content

Guides, articles, and educational content on our website are provided for general informational purposes. This content:

• Does NOT constitute professional insurance or legal advice
• Should NOT be relied upon as regulatory guidance
• May not reflect the most current MTO or insurance regulations
• Is general in nature and may not apply to your specific operation

7. Ontario Regulatory Compliance

All brokerages in our network are:

• Licensed by the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO)
• Subject to RIBO's Code of Conduct and regulatory oversight
• Required to maintain Errors & Omissions insurance
• Committed to acting in clients' best interests

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ONTARIO LAW, ONTARIO TRUCKING INSURANCE AND ITS NETWORK PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Denial of insurance coverage by carriers
• Reliance on calculator estimates or educational content
• Business interruption or loss of profits
• Errors or omissions in content or services

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
